Imitating Christ: 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Remote video URL

Know Before You Go for October 25, the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

What does it mean to imitate Christ—and to become an example others can follow? In this week's Sunday readings reflection, Fr. Charlie Bouchard, OP, looks at St. Paul's words to the Thessalonians ("You have imitated me, and you have given an example to others") and Jesus' command to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul.

Fr. Charlie explores the many ways people imitate the Lord—through teaching and study, through compassion, through solidarity with the poor, and through the contemplative life—and invites us to an honest examination of conscience: How Christ-like am I? Am I making a difference in anyone else's life? Am I living the Gospel even when I don't say a word?

Watch before Mass this Sunday to prepare your heart to hear the readings proclaimed.
