Easter Sunday Reflection: Where is the Body of Jesus?

Hallelujah! Christ is risen! Easter Sunday 2026

After a long Lenten season in a world filled with unrest, wars, and turmoil, we arrive at the glorious joy of Easter morning. In today's reflection, we look at the Gospel of John, imagining the desperate confusion of Mary Magdalene, Peter, and John as they discover the empty tomb.

But the incredible message of Easter doesn't end at the empty tomb. As we reflect on St. Paul’s letter to the Colossians, we are challenged to ask ourselves: *Where is the body of Jesus today?* The beautiful reality is that the Body of Christ is alive and well in us—in what you and I choose to do next. In a world desperate for peace, let us never settle for anything less than living as true Christians.

We wish you a very happy and most blessed Easter!
