10 March 2026, our Sixth Anniversary and the Solemnity of St. Joseph.

Six years ago, amidst the fear and lockdowns of the global pandemic, the Dominican Friars launched *Word of Hope* to bring light into a dark world. Today, though the pandemic has passed, we still face frightening times—wars, political unrest, and confusion.

In this reflection, we look to St. Joseph as a model of righteousness. Faced with a perplexing situation—Mary's unexplained pregnancy—Joseph chose compassion over shame and listening to God over following the rules. We may not be able to solve the world's problems, but like Joseph, we can choose to be righteous. We can choose not to add to the madness.

**Key Takeaways:**
*   **A Milestone:** Celebrating 6 years of *A Word of Hope* (founded March 19, 2020).
*   **St. Joseph’s Courage:** How he moved beyond "reasonable" thinking to listen to God.
*   **Compassion Over Shame:** Joseph’s refusal to expose Mary to public disgrace.
*   **Choosing Righteousness:** How we can stand apart from the world's chaos and anger.
*   **The Power of Silence:** Listening to God through dreams, prayer, and contemplation.
