St. Dominic’s Holy Family
When God calls, the path is rarely easy. The Church has always looked to witnesses—men and women whose lives make courage visible—to help us follow that call with trust.
Produced by the Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus and created in collaboration with our province, St. Dominic’s Holy Family: An Animated Series, now available on YouTube.
Season One tells the true stories of four Dominican cooperator brothers—a soldier, a missionary, a murderer, and an artist—whose lives were marked by struggle, repentance, and grace. Narrated by the friars, each brief episode traces how Brothers James, Carino, Balthasar, and Marcos heard the call to the Order of Preachers and discovered a deeper freedom in fidelity.
Beautifully animated and thoughtfully presented, the series is accessible for adults and children alike. It offers a window into a lesser-known vocation within the Dominican family and a timely reminder, especially in Lent, that holiness often grows from wounded soil.
These men lived centuries ago, yet their witness remains strikingly contemporary. They sinned, suffered, and endured loss. By God’s grace, they were converted—and in turn became instruments of renewal in their own time.
We invite you to watch St. Dominic’s Holy Family and share it with others seeking encouragement on the road of faith.
