Beyond Belief: The Journey to Knowing God

Remote video URL

Is there a difference between believing in God and *knowing* God? In this reflection for Saturday of the 4th Week of Easter, Father Andrew Carl Wisdom speaks from the Chapel of St. Pius V Priory in Chicago—the very place his own journey began over 20 years ago.

Reflecting on the dialogue between Jesus and Philip, Fr. Andrew explores why Jesus seemed frustrated when Philip asked to "see the Father." He explains that the spiritual life is a journey from the "believing" that gets us through the door, to the "knowing" that comes from a life of shared love and communion. Featuring a famous quote from psychologist Carl Jung, this message is an invitation to stop observing God from the outside and start living within the "current of love" shared by the Father and the Son.
